In April 19245043554, the construction of the old Peking University library building in Song Gong Mansion was kicked off, and the original mansion was partially pulled down. The library building was completed in August 19245043555 and put into use a month later. The library is shaped like the Chinese character "山" which means "mountain." This building is now the office of Qiushi Periodical.
